Spark wins at Accounting Excellence Awards.

Spark has won a coveted prize in the national 2022 Accounting Excellence Awards.

Spark scooped the Client Transformation Award in the ceremony that took place at London’s Tobacco Dock conference centre earlier this month.

The Client Transformation Award goes to the accountancy firm that can best demonstrates how it has made a positive impact on a business, helping to transform it.

Judges impressed

The judging panel said: “Spark clearly understood what their client was about and gave them all the support that they could need.

“The judges were impressed by Spark’s uses of data visualisation tools, but where the firm made the biggest impact was in the way it listened to their client.”

Making a difference

Spark were finalists with three other leading firms and went on to win on the night of the awards, which are run by the accounting magazine and website Accounting Web and have been going for 10 years.

We are proud of this award as not only was the competition really tough, but it is also why Spark was set up, to help businesses and make a real difference.

Top comedian and Strictly Come Dancing 2022 contestant Ellie Taylor hosted the Accounting Excellence Awards ceremony at London’s Tobacco Dock on 8 September, in an evening that was imbued with sadness at the news of the Queen’s passing.

Directors Phil Burnell and Matt Smith were both at the evening to pick up the award from Ms Taylor.

The headline sponsor for the Accounting Excellence Awards was Intuit QuickBooks, and category sponsors were Bright, IRIS, Koinly, Mercia, Sage and Xero.
